My journey in the Health and Fitness world has been a fun ride. I have been inspired by countless people empowering others to achieve a better life, not only for themselves, but for their loved ones as well. Only having entered the industry in 2015, my hunger to learn more, engage more, inspire more and contribute more, has continued to grow on every level. But it hasn’t always been that way. 

We all start our journey into the fitness industry through different pathways, for me, it was my own transformation. In 2015, I was in a dark place, 30kgs overweight, depressed and unhappy in which my life was headed. After attempting all sorts of fad diets, detox’s and 30 day plans, most of which succeeded for a while, I decided to surround myself with like-minded people and invest some time into changing my mindset, this would change the course of my life forever. At 117kg I was the heaviest I had ever been, and heading for a life of heart disease at the very least, but thankfully a time came where the pain of staying the same was so great, that something had to change.

  Over a 12 month period I had dropped over 35kgs and gained a substantial amount of confidence, knowledge, friends oh and some lean muscle too. From there the passion grew to help others be able to achieve what I achieved, and I take pride in being able to relate to clients who are in the situation I found myself in for the majority of my life. From there I decided to become a PT while still holding down my Full-Time job, and once I had completed my Cert III in fitness, I found myself taking 20 group fitness classes a week at a brand new facility. Since then I went on to complete my Cert IV in fitness and late last year decided to leave my 20 year long career in the Auto industry for one that I am passionate about.

My passion to contribute to the health and overall wellness of society drove me to create BusiFit. My vision is to reverse the growing trend of obesity and mental health related illnesses across Victoria, by introducing the wider community to a fresh new way of living a healthy, active lifestyle. I provide fun and energetic, resistance based workouts using an exciting and innovative mobile Strength and Conditioning unit. I continue to invest in my education, as my hunger to learn more about the human body and how best to achieve optimum health grows. I love working on a personal level with clients, and being able to support them not only with their fitness needs, but helping them make lifestyle changes so that they can become a better version of themselves. Health and Fitness means different things to different people, for some it may mean to be able to be able to run 10km without stopping, for others it might mean to be able to have a good night sleep and get out of bed without being in pain. Whatever end of the scale you are at, I will do my best to provide you with a strategy and the support needed for you to achieve your goals.
